Merdeka!

Malaysia National Day is approaching. It is indeed important to appreciate all the effort our nation fathers put into to fight independence for us and build up this small country which now ranked third in Asia in term of best country ranking.

However its also very important as a mature citizen to develop awareness towards facts and information portrayed by certain authorities. Everyone in their own effort has certain dreams for this nation and a lot make sacrifices to achieve those dreams, only to be discriminated by people who are in certain position.

Voting for PAS doesn't necessarily transformed this country to ultra-conservation Islamic state nor allowing Communist idea to rule this country in the 60s definitely directed this country into under-developed doomed country. Heck! For some reasons our country is not even on the track heading to our own ambitious 2020 project.

In the end this of course should never be finger-pointing. We should do better ourselves as citizens of this nation. As John F. Kennedy once said: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"

Proud to be a Malaysian. Selamat Hari Merdeka!
